Ramones T-Shirts

The Ramones were a punk rock band that formed in 1974 in Queens, New York. The band members included Joey Ramone, Tommy Ramone, Dee Dee Ramone, and Johnny Ramone. All of the band members of the Ramones had the last name ‘Ramone’, but they were not related to one another. The name of the band was recommended by Dee Dee.

The Ramones started playing at the Performance Studios, and each of the band members wore black leather jackets. Their unique look made them stand out and be noticed. The Ramones debuted their first album, “Ramones” in 1976. The cover of the album was taken by a photographer from Punk Magazine. The “Ramones” album wasn’t a success and didn’t hit the top one hundred of the Billboard chart.

The Ramones released two more albums in 1977, which were, “Leave Home”, and “Rocket to Russia”. The “Rocket to Russia” reached forty nine on the Billboard chart, and was a hit for the band. The Ramones released a live album in 1979 called, “It’s Alive”.

The Ramones made a movie debut in “Rock ‘n’ Roll High School”, which aired in 1979. A year later the band released, “End of the Century”, which was their highest selling album. The album hit forty four on the United States Billboard chart, and fourteen in Great Britain. The band continued to record and release albums, but they weren’t big hits.

Marky Ramone was fired in 1983 from the band and Richard Reinhardt replaced him. In 1985, the new band released “Too Tough to Die”. Richie left the band in 1987, and he was replaced by Clem Burke. Dee Dee Ramone left the band in 1989 to pursue a solo rapper career. In 1995, the Ramones released “Adios Amigos!”, and announced if the album didn’t do well the band would call it quits, which it didn’t. The Ramones played their final concert on August 6, 1996 in Hollywood, California.

The Ramones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002. A documentary film called, “End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones” was released in 2004.

The Ramones band logo was created by Arturo Vega, who was a New York City artist. The logo was inspired by ‘The Great Seal of the President of the United States’. The symbol represents strength and aggression. The olive branch was removed and an apple tree branch was added. The eagle holds a baseball bat, because Johnny Ramone was a baseball fan.

Fans can have a piece of the Ramones history with the Ramones Presidential Seal Tank Top. The t-shirt features the Presidential seal logo, and ‘Hey Ho, Let’s Go’ on the ribbon that the eagle is holding. The Ramones tee shirt is an iconic tee shirt that any fan would treasure. The Ramones Presidential Seal T-Shirt features the band’s Presidential logo, and the original band members name around the logo. The Ramones name is featured on top of the band’s logo to make this tee shirt one of the best Ramones tee shirts for fans.
