Britney Jean Spears an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress. She released the album Britney in 2001 and in 2003 released In the Zone. For these albums, she switched up her style and took on a more mature and provocative role, this also landed her the start role in the feature film Crossroads that released in 2002. The promotion for the release of this album was limited because she went through a lot of personal struggles which were highly publicized.
