The show is based around a group of friends that live in Manhattan, and their challenges that they each face. How I Met Your Mother aired two hundred and eight episodes. The pineapple incident was on the first season. This was the best episode of How I Met Your Mother. Remember when Barney convinces Ted to take five shots of ‘Red Dragon’, and Ted does it, because he claims he can function perfectly under the influence, but after he takes the shots he passes out. Ted wakes up the next morning with a girl in his bed, and this girl he doesn’t even recognize, then he looks over on his nightstand to find a pineapple. Ted goes to Marshall and Lily and ask them what happened and who was the girl and what was up with the pineapple, but they couldn’t help him, so he calls Barney. Barney puts Ted to bed, so he don’t know who the mystery girl is. The whole episode Ted is trying to figure out who the mystery girl is, and what is the deal with the pineapple. He finally figures out who the girl is, but never found out about the pineapple, except it was delicious when he cut it up and ate it. This was one of the most watched episodes of How I Met Your Mother. The episode had over twelve million viewers.

The love and bond between the friends is amazing. The laughs and jokes that they share with one another makes the show. The fans of How I Met Your Mother can relate with each character.
