Budweiser T-Shirts

Budweiser (or just Bud) is a beer that is produced by Anheuser-Bush Brewing Company. Budweiser is one of the most popular and highest selling beers in the United States. Adolphus Busch came to the United States in 1857, and planted his roots in St. Louis, Missouri. Adolphus Busch met Lily Anheuser and married her. Her father owned a brewery, and Adolph partnered with his father-n-law and the brewery became the Anheuser-Busch Company.

The Anheuser-Busch Company was the first brewery to practice pasteurization. Pasteurization allowed the beer to last longer, and transport easier. In 1876, Budweiser was introduced. Budweiser beer is a medium bodied beer that is also known as “The King of Beers”. Budweiser is brewed with barley malt, verdant rice, yeast, select hops, and filtered water.

When you think of Budweiser beer, then you think of the bold taste, but also the famous Clydesdales. The Clydesdales made their first appearance on April 7, 1933. Clydesdales horses have long hair that cover their hooves. They are very strong horses that can pull a one ton load at an amazing five miles per hour. The Budweiser Clydesdales first appearance in 1933 occurred as a gift to Adolphus Busch’s father. The gift was for a celebration that the prohibition was ended. The Budweiser Clydesdales moved them so much that the phrase, “crying in your beer” was officially tagged from then on. The Budweiser Clydesdales appeared in Bill Clinton’s and Harry Truman’s inaugural parade. The Budweiser Clydesdales have their own mascot, and that mascot is a Dalmatian. They were given their mascot in 1950.

The A and Eagle logo and trademark for Anheuser-Busch has been used on their products since 1877. The A is to stand for Anheuser, and the Eagle is to stand for America. The Budweiser label has a lot going on. The Budweiser is in the center, and King of Beers is underneath. The AB logo and Eagle is in each top corner of the label.
