The rock band, The Rolling Stones were formed in 1962. The band members included Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ian Stewart, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, and Brian Jones. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards grew up together as childhood friends, then the two decided to form a band together, which was called The Blues Boys, because of their fondness to the blues music. The name was changed after the other members joined the band, and the Jazz News called one of the members about their music. When they asked what the name of the band was, Brian Jones seen an album of Muddy Waters, then seen the song, “Rollin’ Stone”, and he said, The Rolling Stones, and the name stuck.

The Rolling Stones first single was, “Come On”, which was released on June 7, 1963. The second single was, “I Wanna Be Your Man”, which immediately hit the top of the United Kingdom music charts.
