The Muppets are puppet characters that was created by Jim Henson in 1955. One thing that every Muppet has in common is they all have a very large mouth and protruding eyes.

Some of the famous Muppets include Kermit the Frog, Bobo the Bear, Miss Piggy, The Great Gonzo, Clifford, Fozzie Bear, Pops, and Beaker. The Muppets kept you laughing, but they also sang and danced. Kids love to sing and dance along with The Muppets. I can still hear and picture The Muppets singing. Hearing Kermit the Frog singing “It’s Not Easy Bein’ Green” was perfect for Kermit the Frog. Another favorite song is “Life’s a Happy Song”.

Who can’t forget Miss Piggy’s love for Kermit the Frog? Miss Piggy would call Kermit, “Kermy”. She would do anything for Kermit. Kermit had a heart of gold. Miss Piggy would always wear fancy outfits with all accessories.

The Muppets went on to make their own movies, and have won several awards. The Muppets never get old watching, and new fans are hooked immediately. Children watch the Muppets for hours.

The Muppets have become such a huge hit that memorabilia is in demand. The Muppets memorabilia includes stuffed animals, trading cards, lunch boxes, dolls, TV trays, and the Muppets T-Shirts.
